Teachers Conference

It's easy to sometimes forget the essential piece of this entire operation, the ones that make all the progress we've made possible: the teachers. This year we were able to sponsor several of the teachers from CESAH and SOPUDEP to travel to La Gonave (an island just off of Port au Prince) for a teachers conference. Once they arrived they were able to meet with teachers from all over Haiti, to discuss how their schools are run and share information. They also got to visit and learn about a few schools on the island. We are so glad to have been able to support this trip, and to give this opportunity to the teachers so that they can return and share what they've learned.
