Students for Haiti Solidarity at UCLA
Students for Haiti Solidarity at UCLA was founded in 2015 at UCLA by three previous Los Altos High School students. Their goal is to provide graduating SOPUDEP seniors with the opportunity to attend university, which is often an extreme financial burden for these students and their families. Currently, they support 13 students at university in their 1st and 2nd years.

Covington Elementary
The students at Covington Elementary have been so excited to fundraise over 2019 for the students at SOPUDEP. Through hot chocolate and "Duct-tape Your Teacher" events they have raised over $1300!

The 25 students of Mrs. Nero's 5th Grade Class have also been exchanging pen-pal letters with their sister classroom at CESAH. This has been an awesome opportunity for the kids to learn about each other's lives!

Haiti Action Committe
The Haiti Action Committee is a Bay-Area based network of activists who have supported the Haitian struggle for democracy since 1991.

Our members travel frequently to Haiti and are in close touch with Haitian grassroots activists, legal and human rights workers, and victims of repression.

Through demonstrations and civil disobedience, Congressional lobbying and educational events, publications and community organizing, we are working to build a strong Haiti solidarity movement.

SOPUDEP
SOPUDEP (Society of Providence United for the Economic Development of Petion-Ville) is a Haitian founded and run grassroots organization located in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.
The organizations Founder and Director is Madam Réa Dol, who to her credit, is a tireless advocate of a prosperous Haiti built on equality. SOPUDEP’s focus is on providing accessible education to adults and children, supporting children’s and women’s rights, and creating programs of economic empowerment for members of their community.
They also work closely with other local organizations to help them achieve these same goals in other communities that face economic and social challenges.
