Week 11

Hoping everyone back home is having a wonderful Easter! Here, Easter is a BIG deal, and all schools have been closed for the week for vacation. While I still had my English classes, this did mean I got to spend a lot more time with the girls at the orphanage, Padre, and Ricardo!

Some things I learned:

• Kids under 8 are not good at friendship bracelet making (unless it's Anne-Sophie, who could make a chevron style bracelet after just watching me)

• Kites can be made out of plastic wrap and sticks (oh and I am not very good at flying them)

• Dreadlocks with friendship bracelet string look super cool but are the WORST to take out

• Some babies may just never like you (aka my good friend Bissy's baby, who screams bloody murder every time I pick her up)

• Haitians think my impersonations of them are WAY funnier than they actually are
